What’s “Sappening” Party at the Brewery – April 8th, Noon-8PM

The Maple Syrup Mafia will be tapping the maple trees across from the brewery in Alpha and will “sap” like the loggers used to do. They will be boiling down the sap to make the maple syrup! How do you make maple syrup? We will have Todd Starling, an environmental educator, from “Trees for Tomorrow” at the brewery to explain the entire process – from tapping the trees, collecting the sap, the boil and the end product!

This is a great opportunity to come out and learn how maple syrup is made, watch the sap boil and enjoy some great beers. Bring the kids and they, along with mom and dad, can learn the process! Cheers!

The trails are open and this is how to get to the brewery on your sled!

The trails are groomed and the sleds are out! How to get to the brewery! From the East or West take Trail 2 to Trail 113 North. Turn on to the Mastodon Spur (113 marked Alpha) and to the brewery! From the North (Crystal Falls area) take Trail 113 South to the Mastodon Spur! Best route in Alpha to the brewery is the trail to CR424, North on 11th Ave and left on 5th Street direct to the brewery! See you there! Cheers!
